Shift: 19:00 - 07:01 (Night Shift) with every other weekend rotation.

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team. The ideal candidate will be capable of providing high-quality care in the Labor and Delivery, Nursery, and Post-Partum Units. Candidates must have the ability to perform in a fast-paced, critical access hospital environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to maternity women and newborns in the Labor and Delivery, Nursery, and Post-Partum Units.
• Monitor labor progress and fetal well-being using appropriate techniques.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Support and educate patients and families during their maternity experience.
• Participate in departmental meetings and collaborate with team members to ensure safe patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must hold a valid RN license in the state of Tennessee.
• Minimum of 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience.
• Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, AWHONN.
