Procurement Specialist

The Procurement Specialist supports daytoday procurement operations for the manufacturing site, with a primary focus on requisition processing, purchase order creation, PO tracking, expediting, and supplier coordination. This role works closely with plant stakeholders, suppliers, and the site procurement team to ensure timely and accurate purchase execution in support of production and maintenance needs. The ideal candidate has foundational procurement experience and thrives in a fastpaced, executionfocused environment.

Required Skills & Experience
• Bachelor's degree required in business, supply chain, engineering, or a related field
• 2+ years of hands-on procurement experience with a focus on:
• Requisition processing
• Purchase order creation and execution
• PO tracking, followup, and expediting
• Supplier communication and issue resolution
• Working knowledge of procuretopay processes in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Experience using ERP systems (SAP S/4HANA preferred; SAP ECC acceptable)
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple open POs and priorities
• Clear, professional communication skills for interacting with suppliers and internal stakeholders


Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Experience with Coupa or similar eprocurement tools
• Exposure to materials control or MRPdriven inventory processes
• Manufacturing or plantbased procurement experience
