Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Role Overview Provides anesthesia care across various patient acuity levels and settings, including surgical, obstetrical, diagnostic, therapeutic, and pain management procedures. Key Responsibilities Performs pre-operative patient assessments and develops care plans. Establishes and maintains venous access and airway management. Induces, maintains, and monitors anesthesia during procedures. Completes anesthesia and manages emergence phases. Transfers patient care post-procedure and conducts post-operative follow-up. Serves as a clinical instructor for anesthesia students. Qualifications & Skills Active license as a Certified Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) or Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of practice. Certification from the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA). Ability to communicate effectively, possess adequate visual acuity, and work collaboratively in a team environment.
