IR Tech - Travel Position

This is a 4x10 hour shift position, working from 07:00 AM to 05:30 PM.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced IR Tech for a travel position within a dynamic health system. Our ideal candidate is a skilled professional with a strong background in interventional radiology procedures and a commitment to patient care. This role requires proficiency in Y-90 chemo delivery, GI bleeds, vein sampling, and Phase 2 recovery.

Responsibilities

• Perform interventional radiology procedures including but not limited to adrenal angiography, angioplasty, and embolization.
• Prepare and assist in the delivery of medications and necessary interventions.
• Maintain a sterile field and assist the physician during procedures.
• Document all procedures accurately in the electronic health record system (EPIC).
• Participate in call rotation, which includes overnight call once a week and weekend call every 5th or 6th weekend.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in interventional radiology or a related specialty preferred.
• Current certifications in ACLS and BLS are required.
• First-time travelers are encouraged to apply.
• Previous charge experience is a plus.
