Our client is a well-established CPA firm seeking a Senior Tax Associate to join their team. This role is ideal for an experienced tax professional who enjoys working directly with clients, providing proactive tax planning, and serving as a trusted advisor to individuals and closely held businesses.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and review complex individual income tax returns (1040s), including Schedule C, rental properties, and cryptocurrency transactions.
- Prepare and review business tax returns, including S Corporations, Partnerships, and other closely held entities.
- Research and resolve federal and state tax notices and other tax-related issues.
- Provide tax planning and consulting services to individuals and business owners.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships by delivering exceptional service and practical tax advice.
- Identify tax-saving opportunities and assist clients with complex tax matters.
- Stay current on changes in tax laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality client service.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of recent public accounting tax experience.
- EA or CPA preferred.
- Strong experience with complex individual tax returns.
- Experience preparing business entity tax returns, including 1120S and 1065.
- Knowledge of tax planning, tax research, and IRS correspondence.
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
