This position is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining injection molding equipment to ensure maximum production efficiency and minimal downtime. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills and enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform preventative and corrective maintenance on injection molding machines and auxiliary equipmentDiagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systemsTroubleshoot equipment failures quickly to minimize production downtimeInstall, maintain, and repair molding machines, robots, conveyors, chillers, dryers, and related equipmentPerform machine setups and assist with mold changes as neededComplete preventative maintenance tasks according to established schedulesMaintain accurate maintenance logs, repair records, and equipment documentationWork closely with Production and Process Technicians to improve equipment performance and efficiencyFollow all company safety policies and support continuous improvement initiativesAssist on other shifts when necessary to support production requirementsRequired Qualifications1–5 years of maintenance experience in an injection molding manufacturing environmentStrong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skillsExperience working with hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systemsKnowledge of injection molding machines and auxiliary equipmentAbility to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manualsExperience performing preventative maintenanceStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAbility to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a manufacturing environmentPreferred QualificationsPLC troubleshooting experienceExperience with robotics and automated manufacturing equipmentTechnical degree, industrial maintenance certification, or related trainingExperience with continuous improvement or Lean Manufacturing initiativesCore CompetenciesInjection MoldingIndustrial MaintenancePreventative MaintenanceMechanical TroubleshootingElectrical TroubleshootingHydraulicsPneumaticsPLC TroubleshootingEquipment RepairBlueprint ReadingManufacturingSafety ComplianceProblem SolvingTeamwork
