Financial Reporting Accountant

Location: Portland, OR (Hybrid – 3 days per week in office) Compensation: $85,000–$95,000 base salary + 10-15% target bonus Travel: Approximately 10–15% A growing organization is adding an Accountant, Financial Reporting to support expanding reporting requirements and continued business growth. This role offers hands‑on exposure to financial reporting, consolidations, intercompany accounting, external audits, and process improvement initiatives within a multi-entity environment. This is an excellent opportunity for an accountant looking to broaden their technical accounting and reporting experience while working closely with finance leadership in a fast‑paced, evolving organization. Key Responsibilities Assist with quarterly and annual financial statement preparation and reporting. Prepare intercompany journal entries, reconciliations, and related accounting activities. Participate in month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close processes. Support external audits, including audit requests and deliverables. Contribute to process improvements, automation initiatives, and system enhancements. Assist with special projects and ad hoc accounting analyses. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 2-5 years of accounting experience; public accounting experience or a blend of public and industry experience preferred. Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial statement preparation. Experience with multi‑entity accounting, intercompany transactions, and ERP systems. Advanced Excel skills.
