Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Respiratory Therapist for a night shift position. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in respiratory therapy, particularly within a tertiary teaching hospital setting, and possess NICU/PICU experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services to patients of all ages in a critical care environment
• Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans for acute and critical care patients
• Monitor and manage ventilation techniques using advanced respiratory equipment
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Participate in code blue situations and other emergency responses as required

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 3+ years of Respiratory Therapy experience, preferably in a tertiary hospital setting
• Current RRT certification required
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• NRP certification required for NICU
• Experience in acute care pediatrics, ED, and adult acute and critical care preferred
