Registered Nurse (RN) - Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) - Contract

Location: New Lenox, IL

Shift: 12-Hour Days

Protouch Staffing is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) with strong Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) experience for a travel contract assignment in New Lenox, Illinois.

Job Details

Specialty: CVICU

Schedule: 12-hour day shifts

Hours: 36 hours per week

Contract Length: 6 weeks

Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend

Float Requirement: Must be willing to float to similar units

Responsibilities

Provide specialized nursing care to critically ill cardiovascular patients
Care for post-operative open-heart surgery patients
Monitor hemodynamics, ventilators, and vasoactive drips
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
Document patient progress and treatment plans accurately
Educate patients and families regarding treatment and recovery

Required Qualifications

Active Illinois RN License
Minimum 2 years of recent CVICU experience
Open-heart recovery experience
Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
COVID-19 and Flu vaccination required (no declinations accepted)
