Description
American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Post Partum/Mother Baby unit on night shift, requiring recent specialty experience and GA or compact RN licensure.
Details
- Work in the Postpartum/Mother Baby unit of a hospital setting
- 12-hour night shifts, schedule varies 7pm-7am
- 3 shifts per week with weekend shifts required
- High volume, fast-paced unit
Requirements
- Active GA or compact RN license required
- Current AHA BLS and NRP certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Postpartum/Mother Baby specialty required
- Experienced travelers preferred due to high volume and fast pace
Additional Information
- Provide nursing care to postpartum and newborn patients
- Must work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
- Returning staff who previously worked permanently at the facility must have a 2 year break before returning as a traveler
- RTO must be requested upfront prior to offer and cannot be requested after
