As a Line Cook II, you play an essential role in supporting our culinary operations by preparing high-quality menu items and ensuring all ingredients, tools, and workstations are organized and ready for service. Your ability to execute recipes with precision, utilize specialized kitchen equipment, and maintain consistent production standards directly contributes to delivering an exceptional dining experience for every guest. Where You'll Make an Impact:

• Prepare all food items and ensure proper temperature is maintained.
• Season and garnish food according to standards.
• Prepare all soups and sauces.
• Keep the cooking area clean, sanitized, and well-organized.
• Maintain inventory and order food items on a daily basis.
• Ensure the safety and security of employees and guests.
• Monitor and adjust performance in response to local competition as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Skills to Help You Succeed:

• Ability to:
• Use all kitchen equipment and appliances.
• Read and interpret basic instructions, production lists, menus, and banquet event orders
• Be creative with cooking and food preparation.
• Complete accurate record keeping.
• Knowledge of:
• Sanitation and health department regulations for safe handling of food.
• PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).

Must-Haves:

• A high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Culinary arts courses or the equivalent experience.
• One (1) three (3) years' experience as a line of restaurant cook.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license as determined by the Maryland State Lottery and Gaming Commission for the position.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for long periods of time without sitting or leaning.
• Ability to bend, stoop and reach while carrying food product, equipment, trash/waste weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to lift, carry, deliver food items weighing up to 50 pounds throughout a scheduled shift.
• Ability to work around 500 degree ovens and work within 40 degree walk-in refrigerators.
• Ability to stand and walk continually throughout a 10 hr. shift.

Working Conditions:

• 24/7 high energy casino with over 300,000 sq. ft of gaming and entertainment space and approximately 3000 employees.
• Exposed to alcohol, cigarette and cigar smoke, bright lights, and loud noises.
• You will work in an environment where smoking is allowed.
• Willingness and ability to be flexible with work schedule. May require extended hours and work week from time to time.
