Job Description

• Craft Personalized Treatment Plans: Assess patient needs and devise personalized therapy strategies that assist them in reaching their functional aspirations
• Implement Therapeutic Interventions: Apply proven techniques to boost patients' motor capabilities, cognition, and perform daily activities
• Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work hand-in-hand with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nurses to guarantee comprehensive, patient-centered care
• Instruct Patients and Caregivers: Equip patients and their families with therapeutic techniques to encourage consistent progress outside of therapy
• Track and Document Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and modify treatment plans as necessary to keep patients progressing effectively

Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• Encouragement for ongoing education or post-grad certifications

Certifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license required
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory
