Make a difference in the lives of middle and high school students by providing expert speech-language therapy services in an engaging school environment. We’re searching for an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) to work part-time (15-16 hours per week, 2 days a week) throughout the 2026-2027 school year. This contract opportunity starts August 13th, 2026 and extends through May 19th, 2027, with the rewarding focus on supporting students with more significant disabilities.
Your expertise will be key in helping students reach important communication milestones and empowering them to succeed in educational and social settings. Enjoy a collaborative atmosphere dedicated to meaningful progress for each learner.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- State licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP for school-based practice
- Previous experience with middle or high school students, especially those with significant disabilities, is preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver both direct and indirect speech-language services to students on-site
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with special education staff, teachers, and families to support each student’s goals
- Maintain thorough documentation of services provided and student progress
- Contribute to IEP meetings and help shape student interventions
- Provide resources and strategies for generalization of communication skills in the classroom
