Legal Collections Analyst

What You’ll Do

• Manage escalated collection accounts and work to resolve lease defaults.
• Coordinate pending litigation related to lease enforcement, including judgments for damages and eviction actions when necessary.
• Partner with outside legal counsel on active matters and help determine strategic next steps.
• Review legal documents related to collection and eviction proceedings to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Negotiate settlements on outstanding obligations, both pre- and post-judgment, and present recommendations for final approval.
• Analyze accounts receivable reports and related financial data to identify delinquent or high-risk accounts requiring escalation.
• Participate in regular meetings with leadership to align on strategy, priorities, and resolution plans for problem accounts.
• Support additional projects and responsibilities as needed.

What We’re Looking For

• At least 4 years of related professional experience required.
• Collections experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret leases, legal documents, and financial information from accounting systems, spreadsheets, and balance sheets.
