QA Analyst / Contract

$35 - $40 A growing technology-driven distribution company based in Chicago is seeking a QA Analyst to support its expanding suite of web applications. This organization operates at scale across North America and is known for leveraging modern technology to power its operations, customer experience, and logistics platforms. The role will focus heavily on manual testing and quality assurance for customer-facing and internal web systems. This opportunity is open to remote candidates and will start as a six month contract. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on testing and wants to play a visible role in product quality. The team is highly collaborative, operating in an Agile environment where QA partners closely with engineering and product teams. Required Skills and Experience 2 to 5 years of experience in QA or software testing Strong experience with manual testing for web applications Solid understanding of testing methodologies including functional and regression testing Experience with defect tracking and test case management tools such as Azure DevOps or similar Ability to work in Agile or Scrum environments Strong attention to detail and communication skills Desired Skills and Experience Exposure to automation tools such as Selenium or Playwright Experience with API testing using tools like Postman Familiarity with performance testing concepts or tools Understanding of CI CD pipelines and version control systems like Git QA certifications such as ISTQB What You Will Be Doing Tech Breakdown 80% Web application testing 20% Tools and environments including Azure DevOps and automation exposure Daily Responsibilities 70% Hands On testing and execution 10% Test planning and documentation 20% Team collaboration with engineering and product The Offer Bonus eligible Benefits Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Vacation Time Stock Options Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis now and in the future. #J-18808-Ljbffr Kelly Services
