Job Description

This role focuses on building, installing, and maintaining electrical control systems for industrial equipment. You will work closely with a team of technicians and leadership to deliver high-quality, safe, and reliable electrical systems that meet project specifications and deadlines. The position requires strong technical expertise in electrical and mechanical systems, along with a commitment to quality control and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Build and install electrical control panels, conduit, and wiring during the manufacture of industrial equipment.
• Follow electrical schematics and component selections to ensure accurate and compliant installations.
• Collaborate with other technicians and leadership to plan work, resolve issues, and meet project deadlines.
• Perform inspections on new builds and adhere to established quality control processes and procedures.
• Conduct tests on electrical circuits and components to detect faults and verify proper operation.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues efficiently to minimize downtime and ensure safe operation.
• Document work performed, test results, and any modifications made to electrical systems.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe, clean, and organized condition.
• Apply safety standards and best practices when working on industrial electrical systems.

• At least 5+ years of electrical experience in an industrial environment.
• Proficiency in reading and understanding electrical prints, schematics, and layout drawings.
• Demonstrated ability to detect, diagnose, and troubleshoot electrical issues effectively.
• Hands-on experience as an industrial electrician with a strong focus on safety standards.
• Mechanical knowledge related to various industrial applications and equipment.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze issues and implement effective solutions.
• High attention to detail when building, wiring, and inspecting electrical systems.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other technicians and leadership to meet deadlines.

• Experience working with industrial control panels and related electrical components.
• Familiarity with quality control processes for electrical assemblies.
• Comfort working with both electrical and mechanical aspects of industrial equipment.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work in a project-driven environment.

Work Environment

This position is based in an industrial manufacturing environment focused on building and assembling electrical control systems for equipment. You will work with electrical control panels, conduit, wiring, and mechanical components, using tools and test equipment to install, inspect, and troubleshoot systems. The role involves working on the shop floor around machinery and industrial equipment, following safety procedures and quality standards throughout the workday.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Rose Hill, KS.

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $72800.00/yr.
