As an ARRT Radiologic Technologist, you will operate advanced imaging equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images, assisting radiologists in patient care.

This role involves performing radiologic exams, maintaining patient safety, and ensuring accurate documentation for interpretation. You may also support other medical imaging areas as trained.

• Exhibit flexibility in scheduling, punctuality, and availability while working effectively under pressure.
• Communicate complex information clearly, prioritize tasks, and collaborate seamlessly with healthcare professionals at all levels.
• Provide compassionate personal care and safe patient transfers using adaptive equipment such as hoyer lifts and sliding boards.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to compliance standards.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives to enhance patient care quality.
• Keep patients and their families informed about exam progress and respond promptly to their needs.
• Perform radiologic procedures according to departmental policies and regulatory guidelines, accurately interpret physician orders, and assist in record maintenance.

Graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program is required.

At least six months of experience as a registered radiographer is preferred.

• Current registration as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists is required. Candidates eligible for registry must attempt within 30 days of hire and pass within 90 days.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association is mandatory.

This position requires close mental and visual attention for extended periods and the ability to work under stressful conditions due to patient needs. Physical demands include standing, walking, sitting, lifting up to 35 lbs., and maneuvering patients safely.

Potential exposure to infectious diseases, chemicals, anesthetics, and controlled radiation. The role may require call duties and varied shifts to ensure continuous patient care.
