Fleet Mechanic Needed!

Fleet MechanicWe are seeking a dependable and skilled Fleet Mechanic! This role is responsible for the inspection, maintenance, and repair of a variety of fleet vehicles and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, is safety-focused, and can work both independently and as part of a team.ResponsibilitiesPerform routine maintenance and repairs on fleet vehicles (diesel and gas engines)Diagnose mechanical issues using diagnostic equipment and technical knowledgeConduct safety inspections and maintain accurate service recordsRepair or replace faulty components including brakes, engines, transmissions, cooling systems, suspensions, and electrical systemsPerform preventative maintenance and respond to emergency breakdownsEnsure compliance with DOT and company standardsKeep shop area clean and organizedMaintain inventory of tools, equipment, and partsQualificationsHigh school diploma or GED required; vocational or technical training preferred2+ years of experience as a fleet or diesel mechanic (heavy-duty preferred)Valid driver's license (CDL is a plus)Proficient in using diagnostic tools and repair manualsAbility to lift heavy parts and equipment (up to 50 lbs)Strong attention to detail and commitment to safetyBenefitsCompetitive pay based on experienceHealth, dental, and vision insurancePaid time off and holidays401(k) with company matchUniforms and PPE providedOngoing training and advancement opportunities
