The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately receive, inspect, and document all incoming materials and components.
• Prepare and package finished goods and other outgoing shipments according to specifications.
• Load and unload trucks safely using appropriate material handling equipment.
• Maintain organized and accurate inventory records for incoming and outgoing materials.
• Verify accuracy of shipments against purchase orders, invoices, and other documentation.
• Operate forklifts and other powered industrial trucks in a safe and efficient manner.
• Coordinate with production, quality, and purchasing departments regarding material flow.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 2+ years experience in shipping/receiving within a manufacturing environment
• Proficient in using ERP/MRP systems for inventory management and transaction processing
• Demonstrated ability to safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks, with current certification preferred
• Strong attention to detail for accurate record-keeping and quality control
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience operating a forklift, particularly in a manufacturing or warehouse setting.
• Proficiency with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems for inventory management (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Familiarity with hazardous material handling and shipping regulations (e.g., DOT, IATA).
• Ability to perform basic data entry and maintain accurate digital records.
