Key Responsibilities Accurately receive, inspect, and document all incoming materials and components. Prepare and package finished goods and other outgoing shipments according to specifications. Load and unload trucks safely using appropriate material handling equipment. Maintain organized and accurate inventory records for incoming and outgoing materials. Verify accuracy of shipments against purchase orders, invoices, and other documentation. Operate forklifts and other powered industrial trucks in a safe and efficient manner. Coordinate with production, quality, and purchasing departments regarding material flow. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies. Recommended Qualifications High school diploma or GED 2+ years experience in shipping/receiving within a manufacturing environment Proficient in using ERP/MRP systems for inventory management and transaction processing Demonstrated ability to safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks, with current certification preferred Strong attention to detail for accurate record-keeping and quality control Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods Bonus Qualifications Experience operating a forklift, particularly in a manufacturing or warehouse setting. Proficiency with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems for inventory management (e.g., SAP, Oracle). Familiarity with hazardous material handling and shipping regulations (e.g., DOT, IATA). Ability to perform basic data entry and maintain accurate digital records.
