Job Title: Valet Driver

Location: The Carriage House

Type: Part-Time

**MUST HAVE VALET EXPERIENCE ON RESUME AND KNOW HOW TO DRIVE STICK SHIFT**

The Carriage House is the East Coast’s premier destination for magnificent weddings and celebrations. We create a one-of-a-kind experience for every event. Our team of professionals works to create lasting memories for our guests & an experience they will never forget!

The primary purpose of this position is to greet and assist customers, park their vehicle, and be a visible representative of The Carriage House. After parking the vehicle, the attendant will run back to their station and be prepared to assist the next patron.

Requirements

• Must have a safe New Jersey driving record
• Must be 18 or older
• Must be able to drive stick shift
• Do basic math without the use of a calculator
• Handel money
• Must be available on the weekends

Responsibilities

• Park and retrieve cars
• Greet customers
• Manage the valet podium
• Organize vehicles
• Manage parking area (barricades, directing traffic, etc.)
• Assist the Banquet team in moving tables and chairs
• During down times assisting Banquet captains with various tasks

Physical demands and abilities

• Frequently walking with some standing at times, possibly extended distances; ability to bend and climb stairs when necessary
• Frequently lift/carry up to 25 lbs.
• Occasionally lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
