Job Skills / Requirements Immediate Opening for a Full-Time Loss Prevention OfficerJob Description: - Identify and Apprehend Shoplifters through floor patrol and the use of Closed Circuit TV Cameras- Report Writing- Interacting with local Law Enforcement as needed- Provide Courtroom Testimony as requiredJob Requirement:- Pre-Employment Criminal Background Check and Drug Screening- Must be able to obtain state required PERC prior to employment- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for up to 3-4 hours at a time- Reliable transportation- Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently- Ability to communicate clearly and accurately through verbal and written means- Ability to write legible, accurate and easily understood reports- Must be assertive, yet controlled in dealing with confrontation- Must be trustworthy and able to work under little or no direct supervision- Attendance for scheduled shifts. Tardiness and absenteeism is not tolerated- Previous Loss Prevention or Law Enforcement experience is a plus but not a requirement- Criminal Justice or related studies a plus- High School diploma or equivalent (minimum)
