Role Description The Universal Banker is a full-time, on-site role located in Magnolia, Ar. This position handles day-to-day customer banking needs, including opening and servicing deposit accounts, processing transactions, and assisting with loan inquiries and applications. The Universal Banker provides consistent, high-quality customer service at the teller line and desk, including cash handling, answering questions, and resolving issues in a professional manner. The role also involves explaining banking products and services, educating customers on account options and digital banking tools, and adhering to bank policies and regulatory requirements. Team members collaborate with colleagues to ensure accurate recordkeeping, secure handling of funds, and a positive branch experience for all customers. Qualifications Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to engage professionally with a diverse customer base. Proficiency in deposits and cash handling, including processing transactions accurately and securely. Basic knowledge of loans and lending processes, with the ability to assist customers with applications and product information. Attention to detail, reliability, and integrity in following bank procedures and regulatory guidelines. Comfortable with banking software, digital tools, and general computer use; ability to learn new systems quickly. Prior experience in banking, retail, or customer-facing financial services is preferred but not required. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework or certification in finance, business, or a related field is a plus.
