What You’ll Do Act as a communicator for the supervisor and the crew Act on behalf of the supervisor in relation to production activities of crew to ensure that work is being done safely and as scheduled Work safely to prevent on the job injuries by following safety rules and regulations at all times including proper wearing of company PPE Follow instructions of the supervisor to lead the crew in various aspects of the production process, such as safety, bundle stacking, paperwork, furnace operations, etc What You’ll Need Excellent communication skills, in both written and verbal form are necessary to be successful in this role Requires experience and understanding of the industrial environment, specifically in heat treating and converting high quality steel for the purpose of creating a strength-to-weight ratio that meets the standards of our customers The ability to build relationships as a leader and as a team member to management is essential The ability to perform basic computer functions through Microsoft Office Suite is also a requirement Your Education High School Diploma or GED required We are CMC, a leading edge company in our industry.
