Job Title

RN – Critical Care (Critical Care Float Pool)

Location

Phoenix, AZ (with potential float to Glendale, AZ / Avondale, AZ / Gilbert, AZ)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Onsite | 3 x 12-hour shifts (36 hrs/week) | Rotating Days and Nights (7a–7p & 7p–7a)

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver professional nursing care appropriate to each patient's age and condition in a pediatric critical care setting
• Work collaboratively with the healthcare team, patients, and families to promote patient health and well-being
• Provide care in accordance with evidence-based nursing and patient care practice standards, hospital goals, values, and regulatory requirements
• Float between CVICU, NICU, and PICU units across multiple facility locations as assigned
• Document nursing and medical plans of care accurately and in compliance with established standards

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience in pediatric critical care
• ADN, BSN, or Diploma in Nursing
• Current Arizona RN license or RN license from a compact state with multistate privileges (or ability to obtain prior to start date)
• Current BLS certification for Healthcare Providers (American Heart Association)
• Current PALS certification (American Heart Association)
• Current Advanced NRP certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Level III or IV NICU hospital experience
• Previous experience in a children's hospital setting
