Job Title: Registered Nurse, OR Profession: RN Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: NOC (18:45 – 07:15) Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years License: RN (Compact Accepted) Certifications: BLS-AHA; ACLS-AHA Must-Have: Level 1 trauma experience (2 years at a Level 1) Description: Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Operating Room. Candidates must have 2 years of experience in a Level 1 trauma setting. Experience in GYN, Spine, Hands, Neuro, Ortho, Oncological Breast, and Microvascular cases is essential. Scrub experience is highly preferred. Ortho experience with Robotics is also highly preferred. The operating room is open 24/7, with 11 ORs available. During the daytime, 10 rooms are active, with 1 room reserved for trauma. There are 2 booked rooms and 1 dedicated trauma room available overnight. On-call shifts are required based on call outs. Travelers are requested to take 2-3 call shifts in a 6-week period. Candidates may be floated to weekends based on unit needs. Management prefers to schedule around 4-6 weekend shifts within a 4-week schedule, but this may fluctuate.
