Cardiac Cath Lab Tech | Oakland, California

This contract opportunity requires a skilled professional ready to support a busy Cardiac Catheterization Lab, working closely with a multidisciplinary team.


Schedule/Hours:

• 10-hour day shifts
• Full-time, 40 hours per week
• Availability on weekends as needed

Qualifications:

• Active California Radiologic Technologist License
• Valid Fluoroscopy Certification
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Demonstrated experience in Cath Lab or Interventional Radiology settings
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities:

• Operate imaging equipment safely and efficiently for cardiac and vascular procedures
• Assist physicians during diagnostic or interventional catheterization procedures
• Maintain a sterile field and follow safety protocols throughout each case
• Prepare patients for procedures, explaining steps and addressing concerns
• Accurately document procedure details and maintain patient records
• Perform and ensure routine quality checks and equipment maintenance
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other technologists to deliver seamless care
• Respond effectively to emergencies or changes in patient condition
