Diesel Technician

Diesel TechnicianExpress Employment in Platteville has partnered with a local business in Kieler, WI to search for a Diesel Technician. This is a full-time position.Pay: $20–$40/hour, based on experience Hours: 1:00 PM – 11:00 PMResponsibilities may include:Perform maintenance such as oil/filter changes, tire changes, greasing, and battery replacementDiagnose and repair diesel engines and heavy-duty vehicle systemsRepair brakes, suspension, steering, driveline, HVAC, and exhaust systemsPerform basic electrical troubleshooting and repairsDiagnose hydraulic and PTO systemsPerform wheel alignments and other mechanical repairsInspect vehicles and identify mechanical issuesAssist with emergency roadside repairsUse diagnostic tools and equipment to identify problemsKeep vehicles, parts, and shop areas clean and organizedQualifications:Diesel mechanic or heavy-duty truck experience preferredDiesel schooling or hands-on mechanical experience is a plusStrong mechanical and troubleshooting skillsAbility to work independently based on experience levelWillingness to learn and take on additional responsibilitiesPay will be based on experience and skill level.
