Registered Nurse

Expanding unit with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5 to 1:6. Float required within scope of practice. Every other weekend required. Blocked scheduling cannot be accommodated. Resource must reside at least 75 miles from the facility to be considered. Assignment confirmation needs to be signed within 24 hours of an offer. Must have current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS. Experience with telemetry and cardiac management is essential. Travelers must be willing to accept an 84-hour schedule over two weeks. Candidates must present any requests for time off up front. Must work either a major or minor holiday. References required from a charge nurse or higher and one supervisor. Background checks will be conducted. After working one year, travelers must take a minimum six-month break before being eligible to return.
