Maintenance Associate

SUMMARY The Maintenance Associate will be responsible for numerous responsibilities relating to keeping the building well maintained.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in office set up including assembling and disassembling office furniture.
- Move furniture, appliances and/or equipment in offices, warehouse, or shop area including file cabinets, desks, chairs, etc.
- Cleans kitchens, restrooms, lounge areas, walls, windows, window blinds/shades, ceilings, and doors using cleaners and disinfecting solutions.
- Polishes windows, mirrors, and fixtures.
- Picks up litter and/or recyclable materials, empties large and small trash containers, removes miscellaneous debris.
- Removes snow and ice from building entrances, sidewalks and other areas as required by utilizing snowplows, salting machine, shovel, etc.
- Maintains that all equipment and work areas are kept clean and in orderly condition.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Must have the ability to prioritize job duties and work independently and/or in a team environment with minor supervision.
- Ability to operate a Pallet Jack
- Experience using basic hand tools and power tools.
- Required to stand, push, pull, reach, lift, bend, walk for extended periods of time. Heavy lifting required.
