Associated Terminals - Convent - Administration 9100 Central School St Convent, LA 70723, USA Responsibilities Develop and manage budgets for multiple parts of the organization Lead invoicing analysis team Advise leadership of the company on financial analysis results Minimize company demurrage exposure by managing and fully understanding vessel laytimes Manages company account receivable process Compares and analyzes actual results with plans and forecasts Creates financial analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures; providing trends and forecasts; explaining processes and techniques and recommending actions Reconciles and audits accounts as assigned Develops, supports, and maintains analysis tools for use in business applications Provides financial modeling, financial analysis and valuation support for business projects Creates monthly financial analysis reports for review by business leadership Generate ad-hoc reporting on operational or financial performance Perform other duties as required Experience Requirements 5+ years’ experience in the Finance and Accounting Industry preferred Education Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Statistics, Economics, Business Administration or related field Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in Finance, Economics, or Accounting preferred Skill and Knowledge Requirements Ability to lead Ability to multi-task and meet constant deadlines Able to adapt to changes in process and procedure Ability to influence and persuade Time Management Confidentiality Ability to problem solve Strategic Thinking Quality Control Must be a self- starter Expertise with Microsoft Excel Expertise with Microsoft Access Fluent with Tableau Business Intelligence Software Must comply with all operational directives and company policies Work Environment Professional office environment; occasionally employee will be required to visit field operations for analysis purposes.
