What You'll Do

• Support clinical interventions using evidence-based practices under the supervision of a Physical Therapist
• Administer skilled treatment procedures, including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and assistive devices
• Assess patient progress and communicate findings with supervising Physical Therapist to adjust treatments
• Document all care accurately in the electronic health record in compliance with regulatory standards
• Provide counseling and support to patients and their families regarding treatment plans and recovery progress
• Participate in team meetings, care conferences, and ongoing training
• Support and supervise students (if applicable) and ensure adherence to professional ethical standards

What You Need

• Active State Licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant
• Prior experience supporting physical therapy treatments in a long-term care or rehab setting
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members
• Strong organizational and documentation skills

Preferred:

Experience working in a long-term care environment, familiarity with assistive devices, and evidence of teamwork and adaptability
