Shipping And Receiving ClerkThe Shipping and Receiving Clerk plays a vital role in keeping The Casino @ Dania Beach running smoothly by ensuring the timely receipt, organization, and distribution of the products and supplies that support our daily operations. While much of the work happens behind the scenes, this position has a direct impact on our ability to provide exceptional experiences for our guests and team members. Working closely with the Purchasing Manager and departments across the property, the Shipping and Receiving Clerk helps maintain accurate inventory, organized storage areas, and efficient product flow while ensuring quality, freshness, and compliance with established procedures. Through attention to detail, teamwork, and a commitment to operational excellence, this role helps ensure every department has the resources needed to deliver memorable entertainment and outstanding service. The successful candidate embraces our culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement while demonstrating the Company's core values in every interaction.Description Of DutiesResponsible for receiving and checking all deliveries for accurate quantities and inspecting all deliveries for quality and expiration dates.Transfers deliveries to assigned storerooms, including freezers, coolers, dry storeroom, liquor room, and beer room.Follows proper stocking procedures, such as FIFO (First In/ First Out) when stocking items.Inspects products daily and informs Purchasing Manager of products with short expiration dates to avoid waste.Processes F&B requisitions daily to ensure operations have necessary products to run efficiently.Responsible for handling and discarding all empty boxes and pallets to assigned waste containers/areas.Works closely with Purchasing Manager and maintains open communication to stay informed and avoid issues.Assists Purchasing Manager with maintaining inventory levels and any other products as directed.Maintains clean, safe, hazard-free storerooms.Adheres to all internal controls, procedures, and compliance standards.Performs other duties, including special projects, as needed and directed.Work RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent.Minimum of one (1) year of experience in shipping and receiving or related experience.Bi-lingual in English and Spanish preferred.Experienced with Microsoft Office.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Strong team players and highly collaborative.Ability to work flexible hours to include nights, weekends, and holidays.Must apply and be able to obtain the appropriate state occupational gaming license, which includes a lifetime FBI criminal background check.Must be able to pass drug testing as per the company's Drug-Free Workplace Policy and applicable background checks.Physical RequirementsInvolves essential ability to move at a fast pace, walk, and stand for long periods of time.Involves working in warm and cold temperatures.Must be able to lift, push, or pull up to fifty (50) lbs.Climbing ladders.Frequent bending, kneeling, or squatting to inspect, organize, or retrieve items.Operating material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks or hand trucks.Pushing or pulling heavy carts or containers.Lifting and carrying objects of various weights and dimensions, including potentially oversized or awkward items.Handling hazardous materials or chemicals safely, if applicable.Benefits401(k) Retirement Plan (Traditional and Roth with up to 4% Employer Match)Paid Time Off (15 to 25 days)Paid Parental Leave (2 weeks)Medical PlansHealth Savings Account (HSA)Dental PlansVision PlanFree Employee Assistance ProgramFree Short-Term DisabilityFree Basic Term Life InsuranceLong Term DisabilityAccident/Critical Care PlansGroup Term and Whole Life InsurancePet Insurance DiscountsOnsite Employee Meal DiscountsOnsite Entertainment DiscountsFree Access to continuous learning & development opportunitiesFree Access to exclusive Discounts & PerksFree ParkingDania Entertainment Center, LLC is a Drug Free Workplace and Equal Opportunity Employer - M/F/D/V EOE
