Job Title

Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical / Acute Care with Telemetry (Nights)

Location

Bluffton, IN | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday | Expected 72 hours bi-weekly | No on-call requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical Acute Care unit with telemetry, progressive care, and swing bed patients
• Perform IV starts and comprehensive nursing assessments
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings as part of routine patient management
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:6 for acute care and 1:10 for swing bed patients
• Document patient care accurately using the facility's electronic medical records system

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure in the state of Indiana
• BLS certification (required)
• ACLS certification (required)
• All required licenses and certifications must be submitted with application or submission will not be considered
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Minimum 3 years of RN experience preferred
• PALS certification preferred
• Experience with ICU drips
• Familiarity with Cerner EMR
