Material Handling Specialist

Onsite | 4-6-Month Contract | Telecommunications Industry

Join a growing telecommunications company as a Material Handler ! In this role, you will be responsible for managing inventory and material flow to ensure production operations run efficiently. The position oversees receiving and inspecting materials, monitoring inventory levels, tracking manufacturing orders, coordinating stock replenishment, performing inventory counts, and maintaining accurate inventory records using ERP systems while working closely with production, quality, engineering, and logistics teams.

Responsibilities:

• Identifying material shortages and issues, and communicating to appropriate staff.
• Performing verification of scrap.
• Maintaining a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail in all work.
• Assisting quality assurance team in activities related to moving material in and out incoming inspection location.
• Coordinating all activities related to inventory control to include receiving, inspect and record incoming stock.
• Conducting regular inventory counts and stock replenishment.
• Analyzing and evaluating safety stock inventory levels monthly.
• Preparing inventory documentation including accurately recording type, quantity, quality, and other features of inventory for a clear understanding of the state of the stocks.
• Pulling and tracking manufacturing orders to ensure kit completeness.
• Completing all transactions related to work orders and put away finished good inventory.
• Assisting with other tasks as needed to support overall warehouse operations.

Qualifications:

• Experience with material handling, logistics systems, shipping, purchasing systems, and inventory processes, including ERP software.
• 2+ years general work experience.
• Demonstrates experience working with operations teams, material, inventory, shipping, logistics and production.
• Experience with computer systems and procurement.
• Proficiency in typing and data entry.
• Demonstrates efficient interaction with supervisors, operations staff, and other personnel.
• Works effectively with little supervision, demonstrates initiative, possesses the ability to handle and complete multiple tasks of varying complexity in a timely manner.
• Familiarity with working with Engineering, Scheduling, Finance, and/or Program Management teams (or similar) to accurately status the material.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Compensation for roles at Suna Solutions varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific client, office or remote location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, Suna Solutions provides a reasonable pay scale to include the hourly or salary range that Suna Solutions reasonably expects to pay for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York City or Washington as set forth below.

Pay Range: $20-$25/hr.
