Distribution Center Annex Supervisor

Job Summary The Annex Supervisor safeguards all inbound and outbound operations at designated off‑site locations, ensuring products are properly stocked, pulled, sorted, packed, and transferred to and from assigned distribution centers as required. The role maintains deep knowledge of both inbound and outbound processes, reconciles paperwork, and guarantees the off‑site facility is opened, secured, and closed daily. The Supervisor upholds high standards of operational execution and encourages a culture of engagement, empowerment, and problem‑solving. Responsibilities Oversee all annex operations and coach employees on task completion. Monitor progress, troubleshoot issues, and adhere to security and safety rules. Maintain safe, clean, and organized off‑site stocking locations. Identify cost‑saving initiatives and process improvements. Mentor warehouse associates to promote engagement and empowerment. Collaborate cross‑functionally with main location leaders to manage shipping and transfer operations with accuracy and quality. Protect company assets, ensuring equipment is properly used and maintained. Aid in the resolution of customer requests in a timely and thorough manner, following up consistently and delivering excellent customer service. Assist with inbound or outbound operations at the main location as needed. Qualifications 1+ year(s) of experience working in a distribution center or similar environment. Experience using MRP systems, work orders, and/or warehouse management systems. Demonstrated ability to work well with people. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail, highly organized, and computer literate. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies and tools. Experience performing quality functions such as inspection, control, assurance, and audits. Proficiency with MSOffice, Promapp, PowerBI, Visio, and related technology. Customer‑centric spirit and task‑execution focus. Enthusiasm for data, analysis, and providing simple insights. Passion for solving complex challenges. Comfort influencing others, managing stakeholders, and communicating clearly. Test‑and‑learn mentality and agile approach to team improvement. Physical Demands / Working Environment Lifting and carrying 25–50pounds or more; pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, and climbing required for handling materials and equipment such as pallets, carts, and forklifts. Standing and walking for extended periods along with repetitive motion tasks such as scanning, sorting, and packaging. Working in a warehouse setting with continuous exposure to industrial noise, bright overhead lighting, varying temperatures, and moving equipment.
