About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Current and valid state-issued Nursing License required Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Current and valid Driver's License or state-issued ID required. Utility bill in the traveler's name with matching address within the last three months. Address must be greater than 75 miles from contracted facility. No more than 5 days of requested time off will be accepted. Description: Busy 24-bed Medical-Surgical/Oncology unit. Team-friendly atmosphere. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years experience. Patient ratio experience of 1:4 is required. First-time travelers are accepted. Candidates should be familiar with charting system Epic. Must have experience in accessing and managing ports, administration of chemotherapy, and care coordination. Candidates should possess skills in IV management, patient education, and wound care. Flexibility to float within scope to meet facility needs is required. No block scheduling requests will be accommodated. Local candidates within 75 miles are not eligible to apply. Candidates must be willing to float to other areas if needed. Current and valid licenses must not have any hits or violations. Two supervisory references are required for submission.
