Operating Engineer

What this job involves Develop your engineering career at JLL! The Operating Engineer supports operation, inspection and maintenance processes to mechanical, HVAC, electrical and plumbing equipment and systems. Position requires the Operating Engineer to be on-site. Day-to-Day Responsibilities Complete assigned tasks including but not limited to painting, pressure washing, maintaining lighting system bulbs/ballasts, plumbing, HVAC systems, water treatment, locksmith work and general maintenance (as allowed by licensing requirements) Maintain work order system (CMMS) daily and complete any tenant service requests Perform assigned preventive maintenance and inspection tasks Support on-call or emergency response situations (if applicable) Troubleshoot all building systems, including electrical, DDC and pneumatic controls Comply with all safety procedures Participate in ongoing technical, safety, and operational process training programs Other projects and tasks to be assigned Required Qualifications 3+ years of related work experience, especially in repair, maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, electrical or carpentry Trade school education, union training, military service or college is desirable Universal CFC EPA certification or interest in achieving within first year (with JLL assistance) Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams) Ability to lift up to 50lbs Comfort using ladders up to 30 feet tall Ability to frequently climb, bend, kneel, lift and/or drive Strong customer service skills Benefits 401(k) plan with matching company contributions Comprehensive Medical, Dental & Vision Care Paid parental leave at 100% of salary Paid Time Off and Company Holidays Early access to earned wages through Daily Pay Compensation $28.85 - $32.21 per hour Schedule: Monday - Friday 7 AM - 4 PM Location On-site - Brentwood, TN Other This position does not provide visa sponsorship.
