Company Overview World Insurance Associates (WIA) is a global financial services organization serving brokers and specialists who empower clients to improve risk management, modernize benefits, and achieve long-term financial goals. Position Summary Leads client service for middle market clients, supporting large market clients. Independently manages key and small client accounts, including renewal messaging. Assigned book $700K-$1.2M in earnings-based revenue. Primary Responsibilities Manage client strategy planning and contribute to program and coverage recommendations. Support RFP process, carrier negotiations and carrier contract reviews for fully insured clients with $25k-$100k revenue. Build and use EB tools and templates, benchmark, create financial dashboards, projections, and perform financial analysis to present insights and recommendations. Lead client and vendor meetings and calls (e.g., Carrier implementation) and conduct engaging open enrollment meetings, both in-person and virtually. Create and edit open enrollment communication templates. Communicate the value of WIA EB subject matter experts and determine when to engage them. Additional Duties Respond to client and member calls/emails regarding claims, billing, EOB, and coverages. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Understanding of fully insured, level‑funded, and simple self‑funding concepts. Identify trends and patterns in data sets and understand implications for clients’ health plans. Project management skills collaborating with colleagues, carriers, vendors, and SMEs to deliver on client service plans. Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, and developing knowledge of EB analytics tools, models, and capabilities. Effective communicator, tailoring writing and speaking styles to convey messages and ideas to varied audiences. Developing knowledge around vendor/solutions/products outside of traditional insurance products. People Management Individual contributor with informal guidance to junior staff. Professional Licenses / Certifications Must hold state life and health insurance license. Education Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent work experience considered. Compensation & Benefits This position is located in New Jersey. Base salary ranges from $86,600 to $113,700. Compensation varies based on factors such as job-related needs, experience, level of responsibility, and qualifications. A competitive benefits package and variable pay programs are offered. Physical Demands Office work at a desk most of the time, using a stand‑up/sit‑down adjustable desk. Occasionally lifts up to 10 pounds. Requires repetitive typing, grasping, and occasional walking and standing.
