Title: Materials Planner
Duration: 12 Months
Location: San Antonio, TX

Schedule:5:30am - 4.00 pm Monday-Thursday

Description

• Work within a material planning team at the Client San Antonio manufacturing facility where we build Class 6-8 commericial trucks and EVs.
• Plans, schedules and monitors the movement of material through the production cycle.
• Determines material requirements from engineering and production schedules.
• Coordinates the efficient movement of materials with purchasing, production and engineering.
• Develops specifications for new contract orders.
• Responsible for procurement business system data input and integrity; creates and maintains bills of material and parts/commodities numbers in supply chain management or other enterprise-wide systems

Desired Skills:

• Proficient with MS Office
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to details.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree and no experience (OR)
• At least 2 years of shop order planning and purchasing experience

Note:

• The plant is making some changes to the schedules effective this week.. They have made the determination to mandatory 10 hour days this week. We normally work 6:30am - 3:30pm (w/lunch).
• We will be transitioning to 10 hour days in the future. 4/10's M-Th
• It is required that consultants wear steel toed shoe all day long.
• No jewelry as this is a plant environment.
