Electric Engineer

Electric Engineer (Bilingual Korean required)\n\nTimpl had partnered up with a global EV battery manufacturing company and is\nlooking for a Electric Engineer. \n\nSummary\nThe Electric Engineer is an experienced individual who will support the\nfacilities engineering team. As an Electric Engineer, you will be an integral\npart of our engineering team, responsible for designing, developing, and testing\nmechanical components, equipment, and machinery. \n\n\nResponsibilities:\n• Apply Electrical and Facilities engineering expertise in business planning\noperations. \n• Support Facility Operations with electrical equipment design and\nspecification.\n• Apply analytical and trouble shooting skills to minimize mean time to\nrecovery. \n• Manage and maintain documentation for the site electrical systems. \n• Communicate critical updates to site system operators.\n• Support training of Facility Associates on enhancements to operations\nrelated to controls and electrical systems.\n• Work with departments outside of facilities on planned and unplanned\nprojects requiring electrical equipment modification to help improve production\nprocess, equipment efficiency, safety, reliability, and delivery.\n• Assure that building electrical systems meet capacity and reliability\nrequirements of the customer.\n• Manage testing, planning, and maintenance of 120 MVA electrical\ndistribution system from 25 kV to 120 V.\n• Implement new engineering strategies and technologies to replace facilities\nequipment and systems at their end of life (EOL).\n• Review, verify and approve engineering/design drawings at the various\ndesign completion levels.\n• Providing schedules, reports, & presentations to department and company\nleadership.\n• Perform other duties as assigned.\n\n\nQualifications:\n• Bachelor's degree in Electric Engineering or Engineering Technology\nrequired or Equivalent related Electric Engineering experience.\n\n\nExperience:\n• 3-7+ years of experience developing, coordinating, and managing Electric\nand/or facility related projects.\n• Exposure in electric equipment setting, preferably in battery production\nfacility and Manufacturing experience.\n• Experienced with the handling of Electrical Distribution Components, System\nand Controls etc.\n\n\nSkills:\n• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. \n• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.\n• Proficient Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and AutoCAD\ncapabilities.\n• Korean language proficiency a plus. \n
