This generally includes assessing the patient, determining the proper emergency care, and administering treatment. EMTs also help with transporting patients safely between hospitals and care facilities.**Essential Responsibilities*** Examine and evaluate patients to determine necessary care* Provide patients with emergency care by utilizing appropriate techniques and equipment* Document patient information, condition, and treatment* Maintain patient confidentiality and perform all care with respect for patient rights* Transport patients in accordance with outined policies and procedures* Maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients* Operate and drive ambulance in conjunction with applicable safety policies and laws* Provide basic life support and gather patient data.* Other duties as assigned**Required Qualifications*** Excellent organizational and analytical skills* Strong sense of professionalism.* Proficiency in relevant software and technology systems.* Write simple correspondence or reports* Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees and/or managers* Knowledge of company protocols, operational procedures, and safety policies* Knowledge of methods and techniques for providing on-site emergency medical services* Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language.* Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing* Ability to follow written or verbal step-by-step instructions* Ability to concentrate, think, and learn* Ability to hear, see, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs.* High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required* Current EMT certification/license in the state of practice* Current CPR certification* Must possess a valid driver's license in the state of practice* 1 year of experience in an emergency care setting preferred**Why Join One to One Health?*** Do good, help others.
