Title Dental assistant Job Description Provide expert chairside assistance to dentists during a variety of dental procedures. Manage clinical resources and supplies efficiently to optimize daily practice operations. Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments in accordance with strict infection control protocols. Maintain patient confidentiality and handle sensitive medical information with the utmost integrity. Take and process high-quality digital dental radiographs. Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions. Adapt to changing clinical priorities while maintaining high productivity and a calm demeanor. Salary Range full-time $23 - $40 per hour - Competitive salary based on qualifications and experience. Shift & Schedule Monday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM Thursday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday: Closed Requirements Valid Dental Assistant certification or licensure as required by state regulations. Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and infection control standards. Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently while remaining a cohesive part of a larger clinical team. Proficiency in basic computer skills and dental office technology. Preferences Proficiency with Dentrix dental software. Previous experience in a high-volume or technology-driven dental practice. Advanced certifications in specialized dental functions.
