Full Time Las Vegas, NV, US 30+ days ago Requisition ID: 1017 Reports To : Restaurant Manager Department : Food and Beverage – FSLA Non-Exempt Core Job Responsibilities The Bustender is the backbone of the restaurant and bar by providing integral support to both front of the house and back of the house, ensuring a memorable and seamless guest experience. The Bustender will assist the servers and bartenders by ensuring that every guest’s needs, and special requests are met. Everyone works in EVS –If there is trash on the floor, it is your responsibility to pick it up. If it is a mess that needs more attention, it is your responsibility to notify the appropriate department or individual. Everyone works in Guest Experience –If a guest needs assistance, it is your responsibility to assist that guest and do so with a smile. If the guest needs more assistance than you can provide, it is your responsibility to notify the appropriate department or individual. Primary Job Duties Includes, but is not limited to: Greet and welcome all guest in a professional manner. Maintain service stations and perform assigned side work duties before, during and after shift. Restock the dining room and side stations with cutlery, condiments and linen. Deliver beverages, including alcoholic options to guests. Maintain communication with other team members and front door staff. Assist your neighboring team member with service. Will help assisting bartender Running food Rotate to other Food & Beverage outlets/venues, as necessary. Ensure all Nomikai core values and property and department standards are implemented and applied. Obtain and maintain position-specific licensing. Use personal device/ cellular phone for job related operational tasks, job duties, review company documents, etc. Other duties as assigned. Marketing and promoting Sushi Bar and Speakeasy events both on property and on Social Media platforms Maintain social platforms as indicated by management and participate in marketing campaigns via social media Required At least one year of previous Busser experience in a similar or related field. Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays. Ability to effectively communicate in English. Polished appearance and demeanor. Ability to obtain & maintain full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules and regulations, policies and procedures. At least 21 years of age.
