Core Sales Representative

Purpose and Scope: The Core Sales position is responsible for sales of the company's products and services. They identify, introduce, develop and nurture business relationships within their designated territory. They educate the customer and actively participate in the sales cycle to generate and maximize revenue. Responsibilities: Develops sales strategies for company products and services associated with designated customers/area. Assists customers with product selection based on needs, product specifications, and regulations. Follows up on leads generated by marketing activities, via telephone calls and/or visiting potential customers to discuss needs and provide product demonstrations. Emphasizes product features based on analyses of customer needs and educates customer and sales team on technical knowledge of product capabilities and limitations. Completes job walks and provides quotations/bids. Coordinates efforts with other internal departments (Parts, Service, Sales, Accounting) to process purchase orders, schedule deliveries, and establish new accounts. Follows up and responds to customer inquiries/needs and provides positive, courteous service answering questions regarding product lines, prices, delivery times, warranty periods, customer service, and credit terms. Strives for professionalism, observing and complying with all company regulations and polices. Maintains accurate and current customer profiles. Provides briefings and reports on sales activities, challenges, forecasts, etc., to management, as necessary or requested. All other duties as required.
