Job Title: Emergency Room Registered Nurse Profession: RN (Registered Nurse) Specialty: ER RN Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12H Days Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years in ER setting License: Current state RN license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC Must-Have: Minimum 2 years of Emergency department nursing experience Description: The candidate will provide emergency nursing care to patients. The position requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in an emergency department setting. Current state RN license is mandatory. BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications are required. Emergency department consists of 40 rooms, including monitored and non-monitored rooms. There are 4 resuscitation bays for critical trauma and medical patients. A Team Nursing approach will be utilized in delivering patient care. Mandatory attendance for orientation is required. The unit operates with a nurse to patient ratio of 1:4. The dress code requires scrubs in Caribbean Blue color. Charting will be performed using EPIC software. NIHSS certification is strongly preferred.
