A reputable hospital in Mississippi, in collaboration with MLR, is seeking a skilled Sonographer to join its dynamic imaging team. This position offers multiple shifts to accommodate various schedules while providing essential diagnostic services through ultrasound technology.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, pelvic, and vascular imaging, following established protocols.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures, explaining processes and answering any questions.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to provide accurate diagnostic information, including real-time imaging and interpretation.
• Maintain and operate ultrasound equipment, ensuring its proper functioning through regular maintenance and quality assurance checks.
• Document and report findings accurately, maintaining compliance with hospital policies and standards.

ARDMS Sonographer Requirements:

• Certification: ARDMS certification as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or equivalent.
• Licensure: Valid state license in Mississippi as a Sonographer (if applicable).
• Experience: Previous experience in a clinical setting preferred; new graduates with appropriate training are also encouraged to apply.
• Skills: Proficient in ultrasound imaging techniques, strong attention to detail, and excellent interpersonal communication skills.
