Job Title: Automotive Mechanic Job Description

We are seeking a knowledgeable and skilled technician to join our team. If you have experience in engine repair, transmissions, and auto repair, this opportunity is tailored for you.

• Diagnose engine issues using scan tools, pressure gauges, and other diagnostic equipment.
• Repair or replace damaged engine components.
• Perform engine rebuilds and overhauls when necessary.
• Test and inspect completed repairs to ensure proper engine performance.
• Repair damaged or malfunctioning vehicles.
• Frequently use hand tools and power tools.

• 2+ years of experience in a GM dealership preferred.
• Skilled in engine repair.
• Strong diagnostic skills and experience with modern engine management systems.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Transmission repair expertise.
• Ability to perform diagnostic testing.

• A clean driving record.
• Own automotive tools; a built-in toolbox will be provided.
• Ability to perform physical maneuvers such as bending, pushing, climbing, leaning, twisting, reaching, kneeling, and crouching.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs. (50 lbs. overhead) throughout the day.

The work environment is a large dealership with a high volume of operations. The facility is well-maintained, offering a nice setting for work. Shifts are flexible with options including 7 AM - 4 PM, 8 AM - 5 PM, 9 AM - 6 PM, or four 10-hour workdays.

This is a Permanent position based out of Omaha, NE.

The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $120000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
