Obstetrics & Gynecology Hospitalist

Medical Center in Fresno, California is seeking a Board Certified Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician to join their dynamic team as an Obstetrics Hospitalist. This opportunity allows you to provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care in a Level 2 NICU hospital, supported by EPIC EMR and a multidisciplinary team dedicated to exceptional patient outcomes.

Direct-hire hospitalist role in a busy obstetric unit

• Level 2 NICU hospital with supportive, collaborative environment
• Avg 45 deliveries per 24-hour shift (majority vaginal, ~25% C-sections)
• No on-call responsibilities
• EPIC EMR for documentation & care management
• Holiday pay premium for holiday coverage

Candidate Requirements

Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology REQUIRED

• BLS, ACLS, DEA certification REQUIRED prior to start
• Active CA Medical License or application in progress REQUIRED
• COVID-19 vaccination REQUIRED
• MUST have delivery experience
• 15 years' relevant practice experience Preferred (not mandatory)
• Fellowship not required
• New graduates, board eligible only, or lapsed certification not accepted
• Visa sponsorship available (H1B / J1 accepted)
• Candidates with malpractice/licensing issues may be considered on case-by-case basis
• Not open to providers commuting >30 minutes or combining this with another job

Schedule & Coverage

Shifts: 56 per month, 24-hour coverage (7a7a)

• Weekend shifts required (same schedule as weekdays)
• No additional call duties
• Credentialing process required before start
