QA Analyst III

QA Analyst III Menlo Park CA (3 days onsite) 6 months - possibility for an extension As an QA Contractor, you will play a key role in ensuring product quality by executing and improving test processes, collaborating with engineering and QA leads, and supporting the delivery of high-quality features. This role is designed for individuals who can operate independently, contribute to test strategy, and take ownership of execution within defined scopes. Responsibilities Execute manual and automated test cases for new and existing features. Reproduce, document, and triage bugs; work closely with engineering to drive resolution, and write and maintain clear, comprehensive test cases and test plans. Support QA leads in driving test strategy and test plan creation. Create and maintain dashboards to track quality metrics and test progress. Lead product and bug audits, analyzing and improving QA test coverage and identifying product improvement areas. Provide release readiness support for medium/small size features and lead test execution for small to medium-sized projects or features. Attend status meetings and represent QA in the absence of QA leads; work onsite as needed to collaborate directly with engineering and QA teams, ensuring product rigor. Support stealth projects that require a high level of diligence in execution. Run and lead innovative testing techniques such as benchmarking and battery testing. Qualifications 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance or a related field. Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes. Experience writing and executing test cases and test plans, both manual and automation. Excellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to work independently and take initiative in a fast-paced environment. Experience with dashboarding tools and quality metrics is a plus. Comfortable working onsite and engaging directly with cross‑functional teams. Expertise with Python, JavaScript, SQL or similar. Minimum Years of Experience: 5+ Must-Have Skills Manual + automation QA (strong fundamentals). Technical skills: ability to work with/around Python, JavaScript, SQL (or similar). Strong communication and independence in a fast‑paced environment. Nice-to-Have Skills Dashboarding and quality metrics experience. Benchmarking / battery testing exposure.
