Engineering Supervisor

The role An Engineering Supervisor will be responsible for shift coverage and must possess strong troubleshooting skills in all areas of maintenance in guest rooms, meeting space, front of the house, and back of house areas including kitchen, laundry, electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems, using a Windows‑based computer system. Ability to read blueprints and schematics is required. Prior building maintenance experience is required, with hotel experience preferred. A strong working knowledge of all major building systems, including life‑safety systems, is required. Good communication skills are necessary. Additionally, strong leadership skills and willingness to work different shifts as the demands of business dictate. The hotels When you stay at a Thompson Hotel, you are welcomed as a resident. Qualifications Comfortable standing the majority of an 8‑hour shift Ability to stand for long periods of time and walk moderate distances Prior building maintenance experience is required Good written and verbal communication skills True desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast‑paced environment Previous supervisory experience is a plus Hyatt associates work in an environment that demands exceptional performance yet reaps great rewards.
